City Hostel invites you to stay in the historical building in the very heart of the Old Town. We offer over 80 beds in the private rooms and dorms that were designed especially for the hostel needs. After a busy day spent on sihtseeing and exciting evening in one of the clubs or pubs around, you will enjoy your shelter. Another day you will be welcomed with fresh coffee flavour and tasty breakfast buffet.

The City Hostel is located 100 m from the main railway station, in the very heart of Krakow, 3 minutes walk to the Old Market Square. All clubs, pubs, cafes and restaurants are just within your grasp. You can also relax in Planty Park after whole day of visiting. The modern design of the interior combined with the buildings history creates the unique atmosphere and inspires to discover the old and new Kraków.
Feels like a hotel!
There is a range of accommodation types in the City Hostel, from double private rooms to 11 people mix large and bright dorms, with total of 85 beds. Every room has a private bathroom, some rooms have toilets as well . Otherwise toilets on the corridors - max. 1 per 2 rooms. We offer free breakfast, free set of linen, free lockers for your belongings, free city map with essential information and free internet access. In private rooms free small towels.

The hostel is equipped with warm and soft drink machines. There is no age limit, no curfew, no lockouts. We offer 24 hours reception service with well-informed and friendly staff ready to help you planning your city tours.
Since we run a hotel as well, we are experienced in organizing the trips outside Krakow, such as to Wieliczka Salt Mine or Zakopane. You get all the needed tourist and traveller information at our reception.

Get to the hostel on foot!
The City Hostel Kraków is located 2 minutes walk from the train station and 3 minutes walk from the Old Market Square.
From the main railway station:
just cross Basztowa Street, enter Sw. Krzyza Street and ... you are just at the City Hostel.
If you arrive by air:
take the direct train from the airport to the main railway station and follow the instructions above. (The fast train connection will be available from May 2006).
Taking the taxi from the airport is an option as well, but it will take you longer than by train. Talk to the driver before you enter the taxi, you shouldn't pay more than 80 PLN (about 21 Euro).
