Dear potential guest: IN THE “PRIVATE TWIN” UP TO 3 PEOPLE CAN SLEEP IN EACH UNIT AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE (FREE) FOR THE THIRD (3RD) PERSON, 2 PERSONS ON A FULL BED 1 PERSON ON A TWIN SIZE BED (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY). Some people give our APARTMENT STYLE hostel high ratings, some, who maybe expecting Hotel accommodation are disappointed. This property is not an elevator building, IT CONTAINS ONLY 9 APARTMENTS, EACH APARTMENT WHICH IS NEWLY RENOVATED FEATURES AT LEAST ONE BUNK BED WITH A FULL SIZE MATTRESS ON THE LOWER BUNK AND A TWIN SIZE MATTRESS ON THE UPPER BUNK BED, IN THIS ARRANGEMENT 2 PERSONS CAN SLEEP ON THE LOWER FULL SIZE BED AND THE THIRD PERSON CAN SLEEP ON THE UPPER TWIN SIZE BED. unlike many Hostels that are located in Brooklyn, Queens or in some desolate area, far from the “FUN and CLUBBING” areas may provide nicer accommodations, but as the pictures depict, this APARTMENT STYLE Hostel features NEWLY RENOVATED DORM STYLE HOSTEL, and RECENTLY RENOVATED 2 private bedroom apartments with a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. If you go on vacation or visit New York just so that you can stay in your room, then there are “NICER” units available elsewhere, but if your intentions are to visit and “HIT” all the “HOT SPOTS” located within 1 to 5 blocks away, then this Apartment Hostel should be your destination.

The Dorm and Private Style Apartments are situated in a 5 story walk-up building located on Allen Street, between Delancey and Broome Streets. This area is extremely desirable and sought after by young New Yorkers. The party scene and atmosphere is never-ending. Students, young adults and young professionals "HANG-OUT" and congregate in and in front of hip and trendy bars and restaurants that are the hallmark of this area frequented by young adults. This neighborhood is considered very safe.

Car Parking – metered parking is available right in front of the building, Free street parking is available on residential streets one block to the west. Parking garage (AT POSTED PARKING RATES) is available 1 1/2 block away on Allen Street between Grand and Hester Streets.
Bicycle for hire (at a charge)
You can call from Allen Street for free using the telephones installed in the room. YOU MAY PROVIDE THIS NUMBER TO YOUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES SO THAT THEY MAY KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOU.

Many subway lines are available within a 2 – 3 block walk. The M-15 bus stops within 1 block on Allen Street and it will take you North in the direction of Times Square and the U.N. and other points of interest North and South.
We are several blocks away from a gym, health spa, swimming pool, bars and night clubs, MOVIE THEATERS ON HOUSTON STREET as well as numerous restaurants are available within easy walking distance, they offer a variety of endless cuisine from Chinese, Japanese, kosher, American, Greek, Italian, French and many more! This hostel is affiliated with the MacDougal Street Synagogue and Beth Midrash in its never ending quest and effort of providing tolerance and acceptance education. We cannot accommodate New York state residents.

ANTONIO the housekeeper or someone on duty will greet you and show you your private bedroom (check-in time is 3:00 PM, However if your room is clean and ready before 3:00 PM we will definitely check you in earlier), then you will be asked for your credit card or make other payment arrangements (we prefer credit card payments).
You can book for a maximum stay of 28 days; we cannot accept bookings for a longer period. If you require a longer stay, then a credit check, guarantors and other requirements may be necessary in order to sign a longer term stay. We cannot accommodate New York state residents.
Our prices do not include tax. New York City Taxes are 22.25% on rooms $40 and above. For example, a room for $50.00 per night calculates as follows: 5.875% for City taxes and 8.375% for State taxes for a total of 14.25%, and in addition there is a $2.00 per night state room tax and $2.00 per night city room tax. Therefore, on $50, you pay $7.125 in city and state taxes plus $4.00 per room tax totaling $11.125 which amounts to 22.25% tax on a $50 per night stay. Taxes will be added to your bill when you arrive
Our Dorms contains no more than 4 beds in each room, it is located in a recently renovated Apartment, The units can be shared as MALE ONLY, FEMALE ONLY or shared female and male. Please, note that there is no lift (elevator). The Kitchen and the Bathroom are shared with up to a maximum of 2 bedrooms per apartment.
