Ideally located in the heart of the historical district of Santa Teresa in Rio de Janeiro , the Pousada Pitanga opened its doors in January 2008.Peacefully situated amongst the cobbled streets in this truly authentic area of Rio de Janeiro , the Pousada Pitanga is no more than 5mn walk to numerous lively bars and restaurants as well as the many popular festivals taking place in Santa Teresa.
The swimming pool, situated on the terrace and the garden, will help you to relax after a long day touring the fantastic and unique city of Rio de Janeiro . Owned by a young French girl who fell in love with Brasil when she was 13 and whose last job was Sales Manager in an European group of hotels, the Pousada Pitanga offers you a warm and private welcoming with its 4 beautifully designed rooms, all with modern comforts and decorated using the theme of Brazilian fruit.
The Bonde, affectionately called by local residents as “Bondinho”, is the unique tram-line still in operation and passes close to the pousada. It allows you to travel in the most unusual and unique to the centre of Rio de Janeiro where you can take the subway to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches.

From the International airport:
take the red line to the city center. Then follow the direction Praça Tiradentes. Turn right and then turn left with direction Santa Teresa. Then follow the tramway trail, up to Largo do Guimaraes. Then continue on following the trail on the right, up to Bar do Gomez. Go on in front of you and the street is the first one on the left.
Bus n°214 from the Carioca Station, stop: Posto de Saude.

a) per preavvisi di 72 ore o più non si prevede alcuna penale. Tuttavia, ci può essere una politica più restrittiva. Contatta direttamente la struttura per verificare. In nessun caso, il deposito versato online è rimborsabile.
b) per preavvisi di 72 ore o meno o in caso di mancato arrivo alla struttura (no-show): se non altrimenti specificato, verrà addebitato l'importo pari alla prima notte a persona. In nessun caso potrà essere restituito il deposito.
Sia la struttura che i clienti riceveranno una notifica delle condizioni di cancellazione applicate via e-mail.
